The TG Christmas Competition is pretty much organised now! Check the top right of this page for the link banner which will take you to the competition page, and check the forums for the new Xmas Competition forum viewable to all TG members. There is still some organising to be done, but the dates are more or less set for Saturday the 27th December and Sunday the 28th December. Try to keep these evenings a little free if you can

The annual TG Christmas competition is here!

Each year we give all our members the chance to win prizes and have some fun, and this year will be no different. So prepare yourself for the ultimate in TG competitions - a cross game competition taking in all the games TG members play, and with some pretty sweet prizes too.

So far we've collected £40 for the prize fund, and this is set to grow!

The full details of the competition will be announced soon, but the main thing you need to know is that it will be played across several games, and if you want to win, you'll need to download the following games.

• Enemy Territory
• Urban Terror
• TrackMania Nations
• JediKnight II

All information on downloading and setup can be found in the Vital Information Forum. Thats all you need to do for now - download and set up these games and prepare to have a whole lot of fun!

Having problems with PnkBstrB heartbeats failing and you getting kicked from servers? You are not alone..

It seems the latest PB update has affected a sizeable slice of the community, and it causing hundreds of unlucky gamers to be kicked off their favourite servers, yet no-one knows why! Punkbuster have not released any fix as yet, despite the rising number of complaints so the only thing we can suggest is that if you have this problem you first try to re-install ET and then update punkbuster and then if that doesnt work you'll need to use this form to lodge a support request with PB themselves.

Yes, comrades, it has been some time since we last fought on the rooftop to see who can will be called champion. Alas, the time has once again come for our resident Jedi to battle it out. All members capable of playing Jedi Knight 2 are welcome to participate in the competition to hold the honorary title of "King of the Roof".

Here's the run-down:

Once the tournament opens, it is up to individual contestants to engage in matches with each other contestant. Each match consists of five challenged duels atop ffa_bespin's famous roof. Each win is worth 1 point, and each loss is worth 0 points. A perfect 5-0 match will result in one bonus point being added to the total. Note: As always - there are no kicks allowed in this tournament.

When a match has been completed, post the results here, with opponent's name and score. We will keep track of points in forums. Show us some sweet screenshots if you want to show off.

Hmm well this is kinda an odd one. The admin email account keeps getting emails from one "Muhammad Zeshan Shaikh" of Karachi, Pakistan with his CV attached and asking for a job. We've been deleting them for a few days now, but, well, he's kinda persistant so we thought we should ask you guys if you think we should offer him a job! I mean we need a few things doing around here, the website is not quite tip-top as yet, and the bins definately need emptying...

Hello, the admins been having a bit of a think over recent weeks, and we've decided it's time to shuffle things around a little bit to help share the work load, and try to get more people involved in helping run TG. This not only helps clarify who does what, but it makes it clear who to talk to if you've got a problem.

If you like the look of one of these roles, and want to help out, please come talk to a clan admin! We're happy to share the responsibilty for running TG with anyone who wants to get involved.

Trustee / Moderator (Colonel, Smudger, Claw, Darkvain, Cl0wn, Sui, Llamaondrugs, Recoil, Mino, Rhyno, Madbob, Angelofdeath)
New position, mixing the old "veteran" status along with moderation and manager role. Trustees have full forum moderation rights, and manager rights to the front page, meaning they can pretty much edit content across the entire site. Any member the admins feels has been in TG long enough to have a good regard for the way we try to run this community will be granted trustee status. Obviously some members are way more active than others, but this role entails a level of trust that all trustees will know when and how to use their powers.

Website Manager (Hangman, Goatherder, Darkvain, Sui)
Responsible for the maintainance and continued upgrading of our website.

Server Manager (Raedwulf, Goatherder)
Responsible for the setup and maintainance of the dedicated server and the game servers. First point of contact for all server queries.

Sponsorship Manager (Zymon)
Responsible for managing the sponsored teams and being the point of contact for all enquiries. Reports to the Clan Admins.

Accounts Manager (Ryoudo)
Responsible for collecting and managing all donations and payments. Reports to clan admins.

Team Manager
Responsible for the running of a specific team. Has full remit to run the team as he or she wishes but should liase with the clan admins and the server manager. Has admin rights on the relevant gameservers, and access to the gameserver account on the dedicated box. Currently:

Access to restricted areas of website, able to submit news, pictures, downloads, weblinks and generally play with everything we've got to offer for no responsibility!

TG players allowed to play on ESL are those who have their PB guid entered and have created their account at least 10 days before the match. Currently those are:  Cupcake,  Zymon,  Ehnen and  Panic

Since we didn't have enough players signed up at ESL with the PB guid added we can't participate in the 6on6 ESL Winterleague. But we'll play in the 3on3 Winterleague. Groups and divisions are currently in the making

Also I need all ET players to add themself to our team roster!
